OK - so the past 9 years of the lives of the MC2d crew have been largely spent waiting..waiting..waiting..AND MORE WAITING for this little lady and her band collectively known as SADE to bless our ears once again with a new album.

You've heard the rumers, and by now, you probably do know that the release date from Sade's upcoming LP entitled Soldier of Love is being released in February 2009.

Yes friends, the annual Miami Winter Music Conference dates have been announced (although they usually fall around the same dates every year) and we couldn't be happier to see how some of the events are already lining up. The lol's haven't stopped regarding his douche-bag behavior and immaletyoufinish.com was just the web gem we needed to get some cheesy giggles between work. The site basically takes pictures of random people & events from news and pop culture and imposes Kanye's image somewhere on the sideline of the pic as he delivers his infamous "imma let you finish but" speech that he did at the vma's.

Some of them are corny, but there's enough on the site to give you at least one chuckle when the boss aint lookin.

At a time in the late 70's to early 80's when the shine of disco balls began to dim, and when people started to trade their afro's for a gheri curl, came some really good music.

This music of that era is somewhat of the bastard child of disco and R&B, and has been dubbed and grouped together in a new mix compilation by DJ Spinna entitled "The Boogie Back: Post Disco Jams" on BBE Records.

"A child of the 80's, DJ Spinna (aka Vincent Williams) lived through the boogie heydays.
